The aim of this study was to assess Lagrangian-Eulerian CFD models for the simulation of Gasoline sprays under non-flashing and flashing conditions. Both conditions can be well reproduced, also maintaining the grid resolution quite high (0.5 mm) in order to be suitable for combustion simulations in a real engine geometry. Read more
